The Studio

The Mikesound Studio is situated in the heart of rural Suffolk in England, in a small village, just north of the county town, Ipswich. It is conveniently situated close to the A14 providing easy access to musicians in East Anglia.

The studio covers an area of over 400 sq ft and consists of a control room with observation window and double doors to a 200 sq ft fully floating, soundproofed performance room including drum / isolation booth, all with natural light. The rooms have controlled accoustics and are fully carpeted making a relaxed, comfortable, creative environment.

The studio caters for all types of music and song from handbells to heavy rock. It has been used for BBC voiceovers and pilots for plays, sitcoms etc. We can also record on location for choirs, ensembles, groups etc. The main engineer is a gigging folk singer and guitarist of many years standing so has the empathy and experience to help your music project along.

CDR masters can be produced from your project for large scale duplication. Short runs of CDRs with colour booklet and on body printing can also be produced in various formats if needed
